Yoga

Yoga invites you to create a union with your body and breath that brings peace and contentment to your mind and spirit. Yoga is a discipline and practice involving techniques which influence physical health, mental well-being and spiritual awareness. Yoga enhances circulatory and respiratory function, improved body awareness, development of coordination and increased flexibility. Yoga invites us back to our breath.

My yoga classes offer a connection between your body, mind and spirit, guiding you to reconnect to your breath as it guides you back to your own Divine truth. My classes empower individuals to be in the continuous flow of unconditional love and compassion while coming into a greater state of peace and wellness. I incorporate sound healing through om tuning forks into my classes for a more holistic experience.

Flow Yoga offers meditation, pranayama, brain-based movement patterns, deep asana stretches, sun salutations, inversions and ends with a relaxing Savasana. Testimonials
“Kristen’s partner prenatal yoga class was such a loving, safe experience.  Being able to connect with my partner through yoga poses before we started in on the birthing talk led to a great connection between the two of us for the remainder of the class.  I felt close to him during the labor positions and we were able to talk openly, not only with each other but with Kristen and the other class participants, about our questions and expectations for the birth.   I wish this class was offered more often! ”

K.J., Olympia

“Kristen’s prenatal yoga class is a celebration of the wonders of pregnancy. She creates a sacred space for women to share their experience, bond with their bellies and nurture their spirit.”

Joellen W., Olympia

“I’ve been practicing yoga for over 10 years with many different teachers. Kristen offers a yoga class that strikes a perfect balance between relaxation and rejuvenation — she often incorporates sound acutonics and aroma therapy which helps students deepen a mind-body connection. She brings an essential understanding of proper alignment and continually deepens her own yoga practice, so the classes are consistent without being repetitive. Kristen’s class more than any other has helped me to incorporate a home practice. I am deeply grateful for Kristen’s dedication to yoga and the healing arts.”

Kathleen

“Practicing yoga one-on-one with Kristen was an uplifting experience. I’d been recovering from a car accident and had not practiced yoga for a year. Kristen spent the time to learn about my injuries and individualized the sessions based upon my needs. She was patient, inspiring, and intuitive in her practice. In addition to the sessions, she took the time to gather together additional exercises for at-home practice. Thank you, Kristen, for being present during an emotional, and important transition in my life.”
